Black People and Healing

We have to acknowledge that as black people we have been through much on this planet.
It affects the body and our cells.
We have to make the commitment to heal the shadow
to face the ego and illusions
and live through our lights.
There are no victims or victimhood.
We create our realities.
Everything happens for a reason and we can learn from it.
We can make a positive change in our life and on the planet.
Start by beginning a daily spiritual practice (if you don't already have one)
and sending light to yourself and to others.
More black people who are healthy and higher vibrational, spiritually and physically.

Black People and Parenting

Black people lets have the intention of being healthy parents
it starts first with taking care of yourself and your body
and deciding to live by example
instead of just talking it to your kids
parenting is something that you can practice and study
and get better at
you can be better than what you were raised in
read, study, take seminars, and be willing to learn higher and healthier ways
to raise your kids

Black People and Our Children

Black people
our children are simply "little people"
with their own set of feelings, thoughts, and talents
seeing yourself as a guide
to help them learn about the world
instead of simply your property
allow your children freedom to express themselves
show them the path by walking on it yourself

so many people who live their ego and lower self
say, think, and do negative things all day
gossip, judge, throw tantrums, yell, have unhealthy habits, etc.
and then when their children do it
they want to punish them and ask "where do you learn that?"
and are astonish and dont have the courage to see it in themselves
be honest with yourself and your kids
and be responsible for what you teach them

Black People and The Goddess

Alot of black people are into religions
where the masculine energy is the head
and the female is left out or put in a submissive role
If we want to be whole and balanced beings
we have to honor both the femine and masculine parts of ourselves
The Great Mother is open and available for more people
to connect with her
and learn about her truth and her story

Black People and Loving Each Other From A Deeper Place

Black people because of the things that have taken place in our past
we have issues around self-love and love for others (other black people)
We become jealous when other blacks are doing well
we want to destructive in other black peoples lives
when we feel insecure, lacking, or angry
We need to deal with those issues

One of the most basic ways to heal this
is to start putting your own energy into your dreams/intentions
and creating what you want from life

Know one else can deny you of what is meant for you
so instead of being jealous of someone else
and wanting to harm, hinder, or sabotage them
try putting that energy towards your own goals, dreams, and desires

Make the intention to love and respect other black people
and be happy for the success, loving relationships, happy homes, etc.

Take care of your home space
decorate it with what you love
keep it clean
use prayers, intentions, & metaphysical tools to keep it clear
see it as your sanctuary
be grateful for it

Black People and Our Hair

Black people we need to have the intention to love our hair
to love our natural hair
in its orginal state
yes, it is fine to be playful, to dress up, and to have some diversity
in your look....weaves, scurls, jeri curls, perms, conks, braids, extensions, etc.
but make sure it comes from a playful place
instead of just trying to hide yourself
Our kinky, tight curls are glorious
(I love how they curl at the tip of my dreadlocks!!)
and don't need to be straightened out (if that is not your truth)
also, calling our hair negative names (nappy, ni###a naps, etc)
does not serve us or our bodies
it is demeaning and it takes power away from your beauty
so do you
but also be you
You are amazing just the way you are

Black People and The Spiritual Realm

Black people we come from a rich culture
that believed in staying connected to the spiritual realm
for guidance, strength, and support
take that back for yourself
get in touch with your own spiritual team
spirit guides, higher self, divine self, animal power spirits,
and ancestors that work with the divine plan
It will make your life richer

Black People and The N Word

The N word is used so commonly today
They use it in music
People use it to address each other
They use it affectionately
I guess it depends on the person
Black people use it with each other
and when another race uses it people become angry
I feel that it is a hateful word
I understand the idea of people wanting to use it so that it losses its power to some extent
but I don't think it does
The N word was created from a negative place to demean our race
and using with each other does't serve our over all well-being

Black People and The Age Old Idea of "Acting White"

Black people in this culture was taught that anything that was
great, beautiful, powerful, intelligent and abundant was white
they were also taught that everything
that was negative, dirty, poor, uneducated and small was associated with being black
Yes, lots has changed in our age
but many black people still walk around with the "Slave mentality"
They are angry with black people who desire more
They are angry with themselves and have issues with self-hatred
They feel that any black person that wants a better life, a better way of being, or impovement in any form is trying to act white

We have a right to a life of beauty, blessings, joy, health, and abundance
everyone is entitled to happiness
and more black people need to heal this old issue within themselves

Learn more, visit "Knowing your Ego, Fears, & Shadows" - http://knowingyouregofearsandshadows.blogspot.com/

Black People and Higher Education

I personally agree that education comes in many forms
not just college
I think is college is great for some people
but there are so many ways to get educated
there are short-term and long-term classes, interships, trainings, etc
I would also like to see more places that offer young adults (17-22)
a place to ground into their spiritual practice and discover what they really enjoy
and then help them to put energy towards finding work in that field
I also would like to see more black people in the healing arts/ alterative medicine
as students and also as teachers

Black People and Creativity

Black people are super duper creative
They dominant so many kinds of fields
Singing, dance, sports, etc.
It is great to be so creative
What I wish for more black people
is for us to be great at our arts and creations
and to also be great with the business aspects of our creation
The feminine and the masculine going hand in hand

Black People and Fearlessness

Courage is a great quality to develop
the courage to speak your truth
the courage to walk your path
the courage to heal yourself
the courage to be yourself
the courage to follow spirit

As black people, we have faced alot as a whole
Allow that to inspire you
Allow that to move through you

The Blackness, Our Blackness holds great power and infomation
but we must be willing to clear away the illusions that limit us
so we can shine brighter
